METHOD 01

Minor Hump

Hooked Nasal Bridge Surgery
In case of a minor hump, simply shaving the hooked area can improve the nasal slope. This method is very simple as it takes about 30~40 minutes and is suitable for those who do not need dorsal augmentation.
However, thorough diagnosis is required and the right surgery method must be performed in order to prevent the recurrence of hump growth.
  • Incision is made inside the nostrils
  • Nasal hump is shaved

METHOD 02

Large Hump

Hooked Nasal Bridge Surgery
Large nasal hump is removed through nasal bone osteotomy and the cartilage is gathered to slightly elevate the tip for a natural shape of the bridge.
In case the patient already has low nasal bridge then osteotomy can lower the bridge even more. For such case, bridge augmentationusing silicone implant may be necessary.
  • The protruding area is fractured
  • Cartilages on the nasal tip are gathered together and raised
  • Autologous cartilage such as ear/septum cartilage is grafted to serve
as a support which prevents the nasal tip from drooping

METHOD 03

Nasal bridge augmentation
after hump removal

Hooked Nasal Bridge Surgery
Regardless of the hump size, the nasal bridge can be elevated with silicone implant after hump removal.
  • The protruding area is fractured
  • Cartilages on the nasal tip are gathered together and raised
  • Autologous cartilage such as ear/septum cartilage is grafted to serve
as a support which prevents the nasal tip from drooping
  • Nasal bridge is elevated through implant insertion.
