What is Short Nose Rhinoplasty?

Who is a candidate?
Recommended to those who:
- Have a short and upturned nose
- Have nostrils that are too visible when viewed from the front
- Have average nasal length but visible nostrils
- Experience an upturned nose due to implant contracture from a previous surgery
Cartilage transplant
If chondroplasty cannot help lengthen the nose, additional implantation between the nasal septal cartilage and the wing cartilage can increase the length of the nasal tip. The cartilage mainly used for this is the septal cartilage.
Chondroplasty
Since the wing cartilage that forms the tip of the nose is facing upwards, separating the wing from the upper lateral cartilage and turning the wing cartilage side down can help lengthen the nose.
